Enduruc 2.4 - Chart Your Progress
by Josh Kuehn
What’s New in Enduruc 2.4
Enduruc 2.4 is all about charting your progress. This release adds live elevation tracking on Apple Watch, a new heart rate chart that follows you mile by mile, and a few customization touches that make the app feel like yours.
Elevation on Your Wrist
A new Elevation tab on the Apple Watch metrics view shows your current elevation, total gain, and a rolling 30-minute elevation chart while you ruck. To make room, the general metrics tab now displays active energy in place of elevation gained.
Heart Rate Over Distance
Open any completed ruck and the Heart Rate Zones detail now includes a new chart plotting heart rate against distance, color-coded by zone. It’s an easy way to see exactly where on the course your effort spiked or settled. This chart is available with Enduruc Plus.
Make It Yours
Pick which tab you land on when you open the app from Settings, and add weight faster with new preset weight chips in the Add Weight sheet. New users will now land on the Ruck tab after completing setup.
Enhancements & Bug Fixes
Location permission is now requested when you start a workout rather than at app launch, so the first-launch experience is less cluttered. If location access is off when you go to start a ruck, Enduruc will now prompt you to enable it so you don’t get stuck mid-setup.
If Enduruc helps you train smarter, I’d really appreciate an App Store review. Your feedback helps others discover the app and supports future development.
